k a l a h a r i

I go to Kalahari Waterpark Resorts this weekend. It is an indoor waterpark, and the biggest in the US! It is totally awesome!

Mommy thought I won't like it, since I don't really like water, but it is full of fun actually, especially Andrew brings his 2 squirt guns.

It's only 2 nights there, but many things to do and see besides the waterpark. Play some games (I shoot some sharks and insects, basketball, spider stomp, carousel, etc), play at children area, walk around the hotel with nice view, feeding some ducks, pony rides, meet the white tiger, story time, climbing some animal statues, and playing and eating at the hotel patio, where we can see the outdoor waterpark.

Just see all the pictures and see how fun it is. I'm going to ask grandma and grandpa to go there if they come to visit me this summer :)

Per Per

Daddy and I went to the Aquarium Adventure last night, and we bought a blue betta fish. Yaaaayy! I am so excited!

I couldn't wait to show everyone my little fish that I named it 'Cheese'.... 'Blue Cheese'.

We got the small fish bowl too for him. I put some of colorful pebbles in, and also bought a red goldfish miniature to accompany Cheese.

Before bed, I pray and thank God I got a fish and I changed his name into 'Per Per'
This morning, I made some accidents to PerPer. I put a bunch of his food instead of 2 or 3 pallets. Then I pour in the chemical inside. I hope PerPer survives.
Mommy tried to rinse out the bowl and scooped out the food.
Hang in there, PerPer....

egg-hunt - lunch date party

I'd call it egg picking, not hunting, since the eggs were laying around everywhere on the grass.

It took a looooong lunch until all the kids were ready to pick up the eggs, since the mommies were very busy eating and talking about the food :) there're plenty of good foods, but I think the most favorable for the kids is the pizza.

When the eggs were set and ready, we're all had to wait for everyone, me, Jacelyn, Nathan, Josh, Andrew, Marcel, Dylan, Kioko, Colin, Gavin and Jayden, then.. off we ran around my backyard, 9 kids and 2 babies. the little kids and babies picked around the deck. It took less than 5 minutes to get all the eggs. I got at least 10 eggs on my basket. Then the best part of egg-hunt began... opening the eggs and enjoying the sweets inside.

duckling day & easter celebration

duckling day...

Wonderful saturday morning..... Mommy thought it'd be a great day to have fun with some activities at the library. It's their annual event. It's called 'duckling day' at Whetstone Metropolitan Library. Matthew, Michael and their mom came with Sisi and tante Ria, then Andrew and his mom came later. We suppose to wear costumes like ducks, and it started at 10 am. We got there on time, but we had to walk pretty far almost to the end of the park to reach the site for egg-hunt. I brought my basketball-pattern basket.

By the time we got there, there're no more eggs for us. I didn't really care about that, because I thought it's just fun to walk together with hundreds of kids with their costumes. I left my mask and boots at home, but I wore my yellow raincoat and got an extra duck mask from Matt's mom. Mommy asked me if I'm okay with getting no egg. I said it is okay. I enjoyed just spending the time together with my friends.
Then we had to walked back to the library building, the next thing to do is the duckling parade.
Just when we walked, a kid in front of me didn't know that she dropped one of her egg and rolled over passing me. And an uncle behind me catched it and gave it to me, so I got one egg actually.
It was a loooong line with other 'ducks', and we walked along High St. and waved to some cars that passing by.
Then we met Ms. Mallard, the big duck (it's someone wearing a duck costume :)). I didn't want to touch her, I just stand close enough to see, but Matthew was very excited. He walked to her and hugged her, and Mommy took the picture.
Later we went inside the library, it was packed and full of people. I never go to the library that full. We did some duck-puppet craft while waiting for the next puppet show.
The puppet show was great. I love watching it, especially because Mr. Sam played the puppets.
So it was a great day to spend at the library today. I got some goodies (storybook, bookmark, duck whistle, stickers) and one egg.
Got to go there again next year. Next time, need to remind Mommy to come earlier.

easter celebration...

Sunday afternoon.... I had no nap, but instead I went to the church with Mommy to celebrate Easter. Mommy tried to explain to me what Easter is. It's about the winning of Jesus and how loving he is to everyone. Daddy went earlier because he had some things to prepared. He's going to teach, and Mommy and I didn't want to miss him teach.
When it's time for Daddy to teach, I called outloud, "Daddy!" but all the kids went outside for egg-hunt. So I came outside fast and this time I got some eggs with lots of sweets inside.
Then Mommy & I hurried inside to hear Daddy. I sat still the whole time, because I had a lot of sweets to enjoy.
Later after we enjoyed dinner, Andrew came and we played together and I shared my eggs with him.

It was a fun weekend to me. I told Daddy that he is awesome and his teaching is great and powerful (Mommy told me to say that :))
Happy Easter everyone. I'm glad that Jesus always loves me eventhough I made some bad choices.

weekend at a cabin

It's just like my dream come true. I always hope and wish to sleep at a cabin again and again after several times I spent the weekends there.

Finally, it's the first time this year. Daddy, Mommy and some friends, including my best friend Andrew, came and spent the weekend at Dillon State Park cabins. And I never forget to bring my 'guling', football player sleeping bag, and this year Ingkola, my little giraffe, had the previeliege to come with me (Usually I bring Edek, my little ducky).
Daddy, Mommy, tante2 and om2 were on somekind of a retreat, but for me and Andrew it's just like top of the world vacation. We're playing everyday, from early in the morning, 7am until late night around 10pm.

The adults were taking turn to babysit us, and we always got the best of anything, from playing inside or outside the cabin, got to eat instant noodles, plenty of juices, and watching tv.

The last day, we went to the beach to play with some sands and rocks, and also spent a little time at the playground on the swing.

I was so happy to see all om2 and tante2 were very happy too swinging up high into the sky, especially om Jo-i.
)
It was totally fun, and I will always looking for any opportunities to spent the weekends at cabins again :)
